The Programmers
Shelby Kirn
I've been holding controllers since before I was holding pencils. I've always been interested in how video games managed to create people with apparent personalities, and how these people reacted to different situations. What sets those basic actions? How do they know what things to respond to--and how to change their behavior? Questions like these eat away at me, and I'm excited to learn the answers. |

I began my official journey into Geekdom since I came two college three years ago, and I've been slowly delving into its various branches ever since! The creation of the worlds and narratives of different pursuits, including LARPing, D&D, and video games, has always excited me, and this--along with the fact I want to develop games--I think makes it more than fitting that I get to research the creation and control of NPCs. |
